Spirituality - A Retirement Plan?
Spirituality is misunderstood as being religious. Being Spiritual is not something to do and plan sometime later. It's a part of our daily life.

Don't believe it. Read on.
Alluding to or bringing up the word "Spiritual", immediately sets off an overtone of "to do later", or "something to be put off for later". It's one of the biggest mistakes we commit, mainly due to the lack of knowledge or the intent to understand what it connotes to! We should recognize that we are part of something greater than ourselves beyond our accumulation of sensorial experiences, thoughts, and desires.
We often think that to be spiritual we have to lead a rigorous & disciplined life, through philosophical teachings, rituals, and practices. While this is one way, we need not necessarily take this approach.
Performing kind acts, or being helpful, sensitive, sympathetic, and compassionate, feeding a hungry animal, quenching someone's thirst, feeding a beggar, helping aged folks across the street, helping the weak and poor, or if we don't have money to share, how about volunteering our time? It could even cover activities like teaching a poor kid, who cannot afford tuition, volunteering our labor to help someone clean up, doing chores, and infinitely much more.
JUST BY LOOKING AROUND AND BEING AWARE, we can find ways to help. Just by performing such acts, we will have moved well into the spiritual path. AN ACT A DAY helping is a MOTO we should stick to our WALL, or as the first daily task on our TO-DO calendars.
PLEASE ENCOURAGE YOURSELF AND ENRICH YOUR LIFE.
THE WARMTH OF GOODWILL GENERATED BY SUCH SMALL ACTS WILL PEP US UP WITH CHEER, SATISFACTION, EXECUBERENCE, AND EUPHORIA.
